Delete the two example rows and add one row per compliance item you're tracking. For Category, we'd suggest sticking to a consistent set of values — Fire Inspection, Elevator Certificate, Insurance, Permit/License, Other — so the sheet stays easy to filter and sort as it grows.

What a spreadsheet can't do

This template is genuinely useful for organizing a portfolio's compliance items in one place. What it can't do is remind anyone before a date arrives — someone still has to remember to open it. That's the actual gap between a spreadsheet and a tool built around expiration dates, not a knock on spreadsheets themselves.

Want Tusk to track these deadlines automatically and remind the right person before anything lapses?
